Music Theory
Music Theory allows for quicker and clearer communication in lessons. There are some excellent resources for learning:
-ABRSM Theory (a very thorough text that challenges students. Very well written. Level 5 must be passed to advance further.)
-Fundamentals of Piano Theory (Keith Snell, a very straight forward series of 11 volumes that take the student all the way to college theory levels)
-AP Music Theory resources give students college credit.
